Sean Smith

Founder & CEO

Captain Sean Smith, Founder and CEO of the Aimsir Foundation, brings 35 years of extensive aviation experience and leadership to the organization. His expertise spans strategic planning, policy development, procedural evaluation, instruction, and community engagement.

 

In addition to his role at the Foundation, Sean serves as a Check Pilot for a major airline and is the President and Founder of an aviation consultancy firm, which focuses on providing expert guidance on aviation matters and developing youth mentorship programs.

 

Outside of his professional endeavors, Sean enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his grandsons. He takes pride in leading the Foundation and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals committed to making a positive impact on marginalized communities.

Emanuel Prince

Emanuel Prince, President of the Aimsir Foundation brings 18 years of leadership, expertise, and dedication to his role as a board member of Aimsir Group. With a professional background in Aviation Management and Education. Prince offers a wealth of knowledge in corporate and commercial operations management, fostering partnerships, and carrying out the organization's goals that align with its vision.

Prince is a graduate of Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH with a degree in Aviation management. After college, he used his aviation to pursue his aviation career by working for several Major airlines in Ground operations. He has worked in every role from baggage handler to leading an operation of 1,100 people. He is passionate about Safety, Leadership development, mentorship, and community engagement.

Currently, Prince serves as a First Officer for a Major US Airline and a Mentor for the Tuskegee Next Foundation. He is dedicated to showing underprivileged youth that they can dream big and achieve any goal that they want with hard work and dedication

Outside of impacting lives, Prince enjoys Music, Traveling, and spending quality time with his Family. Prince is proud to contribute to the impactful work of the Aimsir Foundation and is committed to making a lasting difference in the world, especially in the Aviation Community.

Stephen Johnson

Treasurer/ Secretary

Stephen Johnson is a Southwest Airlines B-737 Captain, born and raised in Waterproof, Louisiana. Currently residing in Dallas, Texas, he has had an illustrious career in aviation, serving as a pilot for over 30 years. As an aviator, he has amassed extensive experience as a pilot-in-command across the entire 737 fleet, including the Classic, NG, and Max models.

Stephen serves as a Captain at Southwest Airlines, a role he has held since 2012. Joining Southwest Airlines in 2002, he has excelled in leading diverse teams, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety and collaboration. His early aviation career included roles as a flight instructor and cargo pilot, providing him with a comprehensive foundation in the industry.

He brings a wealth of leadership, aviation expertise, and dedication to service as a board member and Secretary-Treasurer of the AMSIR Foundation. With his professional background in aviation and organizational leadership, he also offers extensive knowledge in financial management, strategic planning, and mentoring.

In his role as Secretary-Treasurer for the AMSIR Foundation, he is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization. His duties include managing budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulations. He works closely with the board to develop and implement strategies aligned with the foundation’s mission, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to maximize community impact.

As a passionate advocate for helping others achieve their goals, he plays a pivotal role in guiding strategic initiatives and fostering partnerships within the AMSIR Foundation. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing programs that create meaningful and lasting change.

In addition to his work with the AMSIR Foundation, he is actively involved in mentoring aspiring pilots and aviation professionals. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Aviation with a minor in Flight Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and mentoring highly motivated future commercial pilots.

He is proud to contribute to the impactful work of the AMSIR Foundation and remains committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Jevon Cooper

Board Member 

Jevon brings 10 years of leadership, expertise, and dedication to his role as a board member of The Aimsir Foundation. With a professional background in aviation, pilot recruiting, mentoring and professional pilot technology, Jevon offers a wealth of knowledge in professional pilot development.

Currently, Jevon’s serves as First Officer at Southwest Airlines. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Jevon career started at Gulfstream International Airlines and then on to Republic Airlines. Both carriers played a genuine role in his professional development and experience.
Southwest Airlines remains an evolving pioneer to airlines around the world and is the world’s largest most successful low cost carrier. Southwest Airlines has successfully implemented innovative solutions to passenger travel and provides first class customer service.

As a passionate advocate for aviation, youth development, and mentoring, Jevon has dedicated his time to advancing the mission of The Aimsir Foundation. The Aimsir Foundation is instrumental in guiding strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the organization’s goals align with its vision for young aviators.

In addition to his work with The Aimsir Foundation, Jevon is actively involved in other volunteer roles, professional associations and community activities. Jevon holds a Bachelor’s in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle University, along with an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License with multiple type ratings.

Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Jevon enjoys international travel, mentoring young professionals, spending time with family and cooking.

Jevon is proud to contribute to the impactful work of The Aimsir Foundation and is committed to making a lasting difference in the community.

Donald Pieters

Board Member 

Donald brings over 38 years of aviation expertise, leadership, and dedication to his role as a board member of the Aimsir Foundation. With a background in aviation maintenance management and as a successful entrepreneur, Donald offers a wealth of knowledge in
leadership, aviation maintenance, and operations.


As the owner and founder of EA Management Services (EAMS), an aircraft maintenance repair station he established in 2001, Donald oversees operations from a state-of-the-art, multi-hangar
facility at Pompano Beach Florida. EAMS provides high-quality aviation maintenance and management support to FAR 135 and 129 air carriers. Donald’s hands-on leadership ensures his
team of skilled aviation technicians remains highly motivated and effective.

A passionate advocate for professional, customer-focused aviation maintenance management, Donald is deeply committed to advancing the mission of the Aimsir Foundation. He plays a key
role in shaping strategic initiatives, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the organization’s goals align with its long-term vision.
Beyond his work with the Foundation, Donald is dedicated to mentoring and coaching the next
generation of professionals.

 

He spends considerable time offering hands-on guidance in both
career and life skills, helping young people prepare for success. As a licensed FAA A&P mechanic with numerous type certifications covering a wide range of turbine, turbo-prop, and propeller-engine aircraft, Donald is a respected authority in the field.
Outside of his professional and volunteer commitments, Donald enjoys traveling, sampling culinary delights, taking on construction projects, and spending time with his family.

Mark Demeritte

Board Member 

Mark Demeritte brings a wealth of aviation experience and a passion for mentorship to his role as a board member of the Aimsir Foundation. A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Mark’s journey began as a
standout scholar-athlete, excelling in academics and basketball.
Mark’s professional aviation career spans Sky Bahamas, Bahamasair, PSA Airlines, and Spirit Airlines, where he honed his expertise piloting a range of aircraft, including the Saab 340, Dash 8, ATR, CRJ, and Airbus A320.

 

Committed to paying it forward, Mark actively supports the Lupus Foundation and champions opportunities for aspiring pilots. At the Aimsir Foundation, he focuses on mentoring the next generation of aviators, providing scholarships and guidance to help them achieve their dreams. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica and their little dog.
